I know this is a vers – very – old post but i just noticed the same problem and didn’t want to change to another slider. I found that loading the slider css before the javascript make all the thing work. I can’t say how it could solve anything but after that I’m not able to reproduce the bug, so I post it as an answer, maybe it can help.
