The issue here is whether or not an element include margins. Whether or not it has a fixed position is irrelevant. Here I positioned the element as a square block to a specific point. If the margin is not considered as a part of the element, then adding a margin should not move the block. Why should the added margin take the position of the element if it’s not a part of the element?
