Irrelevant to the issue.
I do see the favicon on Chrome/Windows, though.

Irrelevant, but it kinda pushes itself in there.
I see the favicon too, but it’s an .ico icon, not a .png icon like the OP mentioned. It’s the only favicon link in the markup.
