Yes, i specified the width, but when I view the site in a large monitor, the menu bar and footer is become wider
Well of course it does!
Absolutely. This is what I described above. For example, 800px is 80% of 1000px, and 80px is 80% of 100px.
If you measure in pixels, 800px is wider than 80px… but you’re not measuring in pixels; you’re measuring in percentages. 80% and 80% are the same size.
