JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data-interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. Yadda yadda yadda.
But what do you call a small amount of it?
a bit of json
a slab of json
a chunk of json
a glob of json
a hunk of json
a block of json
a wad of json
a dollop of json

JSOM
a small amount of JSON ;)
a blob of JSON
It depends on how it’s formatted, what the contents are, and how small you go with it.
If it’s pretty printed, it might be a line. It could also be a property of a value. There are blocks and snippets.
Ultimately though, any individually valid segment of JSON will itself be JSON, right?
A code of JSON
I would prefer “a block of json”.
A slither of JSON.
