At this year’s jQuery Summit I gave a mostly-totally-revised version of my talk “Solving Common Client Requests with jQuery” that I originally gave at the Bay Area jQuery Conference earlier this year.
I always think slides are a little weird outside of the context of the talk, but I also know some folks like to see them. These also happen to contain some JS Bin URL’s which might be of some use.
During the talk, I mentioned the ALL AJAX WordPress theme, which has just undergone an update. If you are interested in that, you can read about it and how to get it here.
I enjoyed them, good work
Great Slides! Thanks!
Thank you for your share this slide
Good stuff! question tho Chris any chance do you know if there is video available from your presentation? Big fan of the screencasts and vids you do, very informative stuff you give out.
Thanks!
Never mind just saw realized the whole event was online…. sorry about that.. im sure it was a great presentation by looking at the slides thanks tho!
My understanding is that you can still purchase access to the online videos. I wasn’t able to attend but purchased the event and was sent the links to the video content yesterday.
thanks alot Chris! for sharing the slides…
i want to test if the allowed tag works here
please delete! i tought i was testing my own blogg sorry!
good work.
It’s great!
I must say I really enjoyed your slides – I could grab a couple of tricks you used in them!
One question though – what app did you use to create them? Classical Powerpoint? Keynote? Something else?
Hm.. al cl.ly and jsbin links go to the same one (http://jsbin.com/jqs-4/edit) only the link-text changes and copy-pasting is not possible.
@Chris – Good work and
nice design! Best regards!
Thanks Chris, I love your examples and reasons for using an AJAX driven site. An all AJAX site makes so much sense, I haven’t found a reason to NOT do this for all my sites. Are their any reasons not to make all my sites AJAX driven?
Thanks Again!
awesome
AJAX always be the main topic of JQuery usage
Excellent slides, great examples, and they would really compliment your presentation. LT
Slides without audio and/or notes don’t give the full picture, of course, but a poor substitute is better than nothing for those of us who can’t be everywhere at once. Thanks for sharing!
I have to say for a simple cart solution this is the best, off course there is Quick Cart from Rocket Theme fro Joomla which is also nice, but this is for the low bugdet clients that can’t afford more then HTML, wuffoo rules by the way :))
Chris can we please see the video of this presentation, it will be great.
Thanks.
Excellent Thanks for sharing :)
