As luck would have it I’m talking at several events coming up this year. I’d love to see and meet any of ya’ll at any one of these things.
- May 20-21, 2001 – BarCamp Portland (Portland, Oregon) – Not sure which day I’ll be talking. Potentially both.
- June 24-25, 2011 – Converge SE 2011 (Columbia, South Carolina) – Talking on Saturday (25th).
- July 22, 2011 – Front End Design Conference (St. Petersburg, Florida)
- July 27, 2011 – CSS Summit 2011 (Online) – No dedicated page up yet, but coming soon.
- November 14-16, 2011 – Interlink Conference (Vancouver, Canada) – Not this one coming up in June, the one after that.
Also, I’m on the BarCamp Tour which will be adding several more dates for the Fall, so watch that page for a city near you.
CSS Summit sounds cool. I wish you could make it to So. Cal.! Maybe next year. Best of luck and congratulations!
So Cal visit!
Didn’t know you were going to Barcamp! Its going to be great, see you next week!

Yeah really!! Surprising nothing’s in NY.
CSS Summit it is!!
Hope there will be videos for those who can’t make it.
Question to all the web designers/developers out there: If there was only one conference you could attend in North America what would it be?
I have been doing print design for 26 years and have only recently made a serious attempt to actually learn HTML and CSS.
The ‘big’ show for print designers would probably be the HOW conference. Is there an equivalent for web design/development?
I think the highest quality one I’ve ever been to was “InControl” in Orlando. http://2011.incontrolconference.com/ but I’m not sure there is any one super-uber leader definitely this is the best one style conference. An Event Apart are also very good and probably get that title most of the time. South by Southweset interactive is the biggest.
Hmm. And I thought SXSW was just music.
Thanks, Chris.
Anyone know any big Web Conferences in London? Or the UK?
Chris you ever going to talk in the uk?
come to the Heart of South america ;)
yeeaaa i know that’s kinda impossible but anyways it’s nice learning from the best people … i mean .:
