New Screencast: Converting a Photoshop Mockup (Part Two, Episode One)

There has been LOTS of great feedback on the first series of Converting a Photoshop Mockup into HTML/CSS. So let’s do it again! Every website is different will require different conversion techniques so there will be plenty to learn this time around that will be different from last time. The mockup we will be using here is a mini-version of the current version of CSS-Tricks itself!

Hi Chris, I have to admit you have some great stuff, your tricks are really awesome and helpful, before seeing your Postcasts, I was a little dumb about css, now I think I’ve some bases for doing my stuff, I loved to use flash for my websites, now I think my mind is open to new horizon, so thank you for your post. Your site looks good now. I loved to see the Forum link, that means that I can ask CSS-trick stuff that I don’t know or I’ve doubts about. Thanks man. Keep cool

Some odd reason, but the video file doesn’t work. Crashes Firefox, IE won’t open it, and if I download it and even open in QuickTime player. Not sure what is up. Even tried to convert it to AVI, but that just hangs as well. Anyone experiencing this?

Sorry you are having such trouble MrBT! I haven’t heard anyone else having trouble quite that bad, not sure what to tell you. Perhaps trash the current file you have, re-download it, and open it in VLC?

    Hey Chris,

I haven’t had the chance to watch the series of videos, but I will probably watch them all this weekend. I wanted to thank you for all the great content you provide.

Keep up the great work man.
