The snippets head has come in, this time by Reagan Ray.
We spend a little time in Photoshop this time shuffling things around a little bit to make sure we have a background that is the exact height we need and also quite wide.
The implementation of this one is simple. Nothing really needs to move around, it just needs to stay centered and crop off the edges.
We make the light blue color go around the whole edge of the content area to tie the whole room together.
Hey Chris,
Just FYI, you can go to View > New Guide and define vertically or horizontally where you want a new guide placed.
When you define the placement of the guide you can use percentages also. That way there is no need to do any math.
Thanks for the tips Scott & Stile. This community so helpful.
Little late, but “GuideGuide” http://guideguide.me/ is a photoshop plugin I have been using to set up quick easy grids/exact pixel guides.
