WordPress recent posts listed on non-wordpress site

  • # October 16, 2009 at 10:12 am

    Hi all,

What would be the process to include recent blog articles from wordpress on a non-wordpress site? I can gather the code from the WordPress Hodge Podge post for recent articles… but this was within a wordpress site. Would this work by using an iFrame, or is their a more elegant solution to accomplish this?

Any help on ideas to incorporate would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Surely the simplest option would be to pull in the RSS feed. I think I would probably use Simple Pie http://simplepie.org/.
There are lots of tutorials and demos on the site including a link to Chris’s screencast http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/55-adding-rss-content-with-simplepie/.
