WordPress plugin for sending emails

I have a wordpress site that is set up where all comments and posts need to be approved by the administrator, and they want something that will send an email to a user who’s comment had just gotten approved so that way they know.

I tried one, but it didn’t quite do exactly what I was looking for. I also found another one that has what I’m looking for, but it also hasn’t been updated in over 2 years so I’m iffy about using it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
