    Hi,
I’m looking for an easy way to make something like: [jQueryCoreUISelect](http://shaggysmile.github.com/jQueryCoreUISelect/ “”)
It’s a fancy select box, but I need it to work from my WordPress ULs and LIs, not from an html select box.

I tried several methods for turning my list into an actual select box, such as [Tinynav](http://tinynav.viljamis.com/ “”). Tinynav will read the class that WordPress uses for selected items, and set itself to display the page which was chosen, in the select box. That’s good, but it’s not as pretty.

When I tried to run TinyNav and then jQueryCoreUISelect, it got wonky. Seems like unnecessary steps anyway, to convert to select box, so it can then convert them to spans.

Anyone know a way to get the features of both, a bit of jQuery for WordPress?
    Thanks.

Since I never found an answer or a plugin anywhere, I created a plugin for this, which I’ll link in case anyone else hits on my post while searching the same thing.
