I’ve been using MAMP in my workflow for years, and recently upgraded to MAMP PRO. As things are set up a little different here, in the sense that you can setup your own servers, I’m having a little problem with a WordPress site on my local server.
As this site is live, I’ve downloaded all the site files and exported the database. I’ve then imported it into my local database and put the site files locally on my computer and updated the wp-config file accordingly.
The problem I seem to be having is that it’s recognising the WP site as a new installation, even though I’ve imported the database from the live WP site.
Am I missing something here?
