After importing my blog to WordPress 2.6.3, I’m finding that WP ignores the rules of CSS and inserts a line break everywhere it sees a blank line in my content.

I’m mystified as to why this occurs. I’ve examined my database content in phpmyadmin and can see that there’s no extra formatting in the content field.

At any rate, I don’t want to have to edit my copy without line breaks, as then all the content will run together. And I certainly don’t want to have to go back through hundreds of entries and delete the line breaks that are there. Further, I shouldn’t have to. That’s what CSS is for!

Otherwise, WP appears to be properly reading my stylesheet.

Has anyone else had this problem with WP?

    Thanks.
