WordPress functions !

  • # April 20, 2012 at 1:09 am

Hi, i am learning WordPress. i have used it before but i want to be more familiar with it and want to make WordPress sites more customizable.

i’ve been looking at chris’s wordpress tutorials at lynda.com. when creating a custom template we have to use many wordpress functions like “< ?php wp_nav_menu(); ?> for menus !

is there a site or any book or any resource where i can get a nice reference of all the functions that are available, so that i can quickly have a look at the functions and what they do.

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

    What’s wrong with http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference?

The other way to go for quick reference is to look for a cheat sheet with brief explanation of each function… I haven’t checked but you could probably find one here. 14 Essential WordPress Development and Design Cheat Sheets

If you want a good reference book for your desk I’d recommended this one – http://digwp.com/book/
