    Hello Peoples,

I’ve created a sub-domain: http://hakeem.orinjstudio.com/ so the client can see the progress of my changes on the theme i have purchased.

My concern is when I switch all the WordPress files from my backend to the clients backend. Im not so savy with MYsQl and stuff. I know that WordPress does need a MySql to live.

Any suggestions guys? Will my info will get lost if I just copy and paste files from one place to another? Does Mysql have to match the wordpress?

    I hope I make sense.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

In terms of the theme’s design, only the files located in the wp-content/themes/your-theme/ need to be uploaded to the live server. If you are also setting up pages and entering content locally, you’ll also need to upload your local database. This is a little trickier, especially if you are uncomfortable with that sort of thing. Fortunately, there is tons of documentation available that should help you on your way.

    Here’s a video (I haven’t watched it, can’t vouch for its validity):
