Vertical scroll bar in IE8, not FF

  • # March 14, 2010 at 5:29 am

    Hi

I made some changes to my home page (http://capeinfo.com) and all of a sudden a vertical scroll bar appears on the right hand side which pushes the righthand column right down. This only happens in IE8 not Firefox.

I’ve tried everything using FF’s Developer Tools and Firebug but I’m not getting anywhere.

There’s also an extra <br> creating extra white space just above the footer – I can see it in the page’s source code from the web, but not when I look anywhere else.

I’d really grateful for any suggestions.

    Thanks
    Carl

What if you change the #header-wrap and #content-wrapper’s width to 1010px and then add ‘overflow: hidden’ to #header-wrap.
