    Hello all!

I just updated a website to improve its usability, however, I fear now the direction is taking us back to where we started.

There’s thought that we need all information ‘above the fold.’ Our upgrade attempted to clean up the heirarchy.

I’d love some fresh eyes to take a look at the home page and provide feedback…likes, dislikes, usability issues, improvements?

    Here’s the site – http://www.veteransjobexchange.com

I’m only concerned with the home page.

    Thanks so much!

The main emphasis is on the Job Search, which is the main goal here. And I think you did a great job putting that as the priority. Detecting location and listing ‘Jobs in Your Area’ is a nice convenience as well. It’s very easy to navigate.

The only nitpick I have is the main navigation, there is a little delay when you hover over the menu items. It’s very small, but enough for me to click the link instead of waiting for it to drop down. Maybe the fading transition needs to happen faster. But, like I said, minor nitpick.

I fear now the direction is taking us back to where we started.

Do you have something we can compare this to?
