twitter.js script (ontimeout function)

  • # September 15, 2008 at 12:35 am

    hello everone,

i was hoping someone might be able to help me with a little code. i recently implemented the remy sharp’s code for updating my sight with twitter tweets. so far i got that part working fine, displayin an animated gif while its loading.
the final thing i want to do is, if for some reason the tweets are unable to load, then display a failure message. (just like this site does).

im certain that i can do thie with the ontimeout function that remy mentions in his post, i just dont know how to use it or where to put it. the instructions that i mentioned are at: http://remysharp.com/2007/05/18/add-twitter-to-your-blog-step-by-step/
hey chris im sure you know exactly what im talking about, and thanks for refering me. so if you are anyone else could help me with this i would appreciate it.
