Do people actually support retina images for landscape mobile devices (not including tablets) w/o checking the bandwidth?
I want the site to perform well for mobiles not connected to wifi so feel supporting retina images for portrait images is enough?
I will be using picturefill.js to support desktop and tablet devices for retina and landscape images as they are likely be connected to a wifi so load time isn’t as much as an issue.
