[Solved] text transparency in IE

  • # February 1, 2010 at 7:28 pm

    hi,

    i am having a problem with this:

    im using "color: transparent;" referring to text only in css so that i can use a hover image for a nav bar item behind it instead – it works fine in FF Chrome Opera but not IE. Has anyone got any ideas please as im stuck!?

    thanks :)

    Use

    Code:
    filter:alpha(opacity=100);

    and set the opacity somewhere between 0 and 100

    thank you,

    unfortuneately this makes the image transparent too, however i tried a small cheat of making the font size of 0px this doesnt change the image so works great!

    thanks for your help though!
