I uploaded a picture for my background using wordpress and instead of fitting the picture to the page it blew it up so it looks like it’s zoomed in really close. Any ideas?

So, What’s your suggestion? How do I reduce the file/image size?

It didn’t blow it up, that’s simply how big the image is. If you want the image to fill your background and resize with your browser window, you’ll want to do something like this: https://css-tricks.com/3458-perfect-full-page-background-image/

Also, you’ll definitely want to resize that image. I’d say make it no more than 1500px wide and when you save it make sure to reduce the quality setting. You should aim for no more than 350KB.
