Hey guys I need some help. I’m working on this site: http://austindw.com/onesource/index.html

And I can’t get the drop down menus to stay open in the header. I’m assuming this is because there is a jump between the parent and the child. The reason this is is because I would like to eventually add a slide down effect with the menus (think garage door).

So, is it possible to fix? Or am I just going to have to live with it and move the nav’s higher?

Ha, I love this forum. Somehow whenever I post, I discover the answer on my own shortly after.

For those who were wondering, adding padding to each li element does diddly squat in terms of the appearance, but it does increase the active surface area of the hover area. Thus when I hover over the top nav and the sub-menu appears, I can move my mouse downwards, and since it is still within the padding area the hover is still activated.
