recaptcha on IE

First time I’ve seen this, probably because I don’t use IE often.

I use Google Recaptchas for form verification. Works well enough and is quick to toss on a form. Plus people know what it is.

IE seems to not show the recaptcha images from time to time. It seems to be regardless of server. Works all the time in FF/Chrome/Safari but IE8+ shows the “no image” icon 50% of the time. I have to click the little refresh button until the image shows.

Anyone run into this? Is it a known issue? Or maybe something I’ve botched on a LOT of sites haha.

Just curious, what do you guys use for form verification nowadays??
