png ie6 save my life

hello friends i m new to the png world. i wana use png for the backgroung image as well as in <img> tag
but wanna save myself frm ie6 bug.

could any one plge guide me throught the process or steps hw to save image properly in p[ng in photoshopcs3 so that i can
bypass hte ie6 bug
or any tutorila showing that.

rt nw when i try to use direct save as option the png images shows badly in ie6.
even the .htc stuff dint wrked well.

Please help me with this.
i would also like to validate the code

thankyou so much for the reply, but this doent wrk with backgrouing images of div’s

chk the same link in ie6 in div background the image should be repated in the div as looks in mozilla
but in ie6 it streches all the way as a single image even if u give no-repeat in the css.

I have always used this one http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iepngfix/.

Works on images and backgrounds. It seems to have support for repeating and positioning of backgrounds, which could be the issue you are experiencing with the other one?
