OSx interpreting sizes differently?

Hey all… just curious about if anyone has encountered an issue with font sizing between Mac OSx and WinXP / 7. The reason I’m singling out OS and not browser is that on my portfolio page it doesn’t seem like it matters what browser you use, but on my wife’s Mac Mini and my friends iMac, the smaller description text is much larger than on any of the windows machines I’ve look at it in.

    Take a look here: http://joshwhitedesign.com/portfolio.php

Any line after “What I Did” is what I’m referring to. I used px as the font-size property, but I can’t seem to get it to be the size I intend it to be on any OSx.

I see very little difference between FF Mac OS X and FF Win 7, save one thing – the line-height on Mac is 19px while the line-height on Win is 18px. The font itself is nearly identical (in my testing).
