Hi everyone!
I’m trying to build a very basic web site using a sample I found on the internet. The goal is to build a “wishlist” where people can vote the best gifts from a list, giving the user an idea of what to buy. I’m using it to practice some HTML and CSS. But I have issues to define a proper layout.
The sample site URL is: http://myazuregifthmeydac.cloudapp.net/
Some recommended me to try “Float layout” and create a sidebar for the list of gifts and the main content to display the details of the gift. Others mentioned “Responsive Web Design” so people can use it on their phones. The sample has an awful HTML code and basically I need directions to choose a proper “master-detail” layout. Any sample or tutorial would be great!
Thanks!
Thanks Ed! I’ll give it a try and redo my layout. :) I’ll send an update.
Ok, I did some changes to the layout and styles. It looks better than the original version. I’ll need better pics for the gifts.
Updated site: http://myazuregifthmeydac.cloudapp.net/
Thanks!
