Well, ok, the website isn’t new. I just wanted to take the layout that I had and move it in to WordPress. I had a problem initially with getting the three columns to be the same height, but I saw a cool trick on a website somewhere that seemed like a cool idea – I used 180px right and left borders on my main content to make the sidebar, and then the min-height and IE hack for it to make it work. So, there is NO JAVASCRIPT in this site. Let me know what you guys think:

and the original design in the e107 CMS:

    The site looks good.

    However,
Entertainment needs to be moved a little away from the side of the page. It is hard to tell if it is getting cut off or something.

The text in the sidebars could be a little bigger but it is ok how it is if looks strange when it is bigger.

Good call. I looked at it this morning without aligning my monitor after a reboot, and it almost seemed like the whole left side was off by 5px or so, which was fine for the menu but did cut off the "e" in "entertainment," so thanks for the input

I dislike the site. There is far to much text on the screen for me. There was nothing to grab my attention. I saw all that text and thought I would have to spend far to long on the site reading. The second I got there I wanted to leave. it looks very plain to me. and very busy. with all that text it makes the headlines hard to spot at first.

Good call. It’s definitely the least graphically intensive site in my network of sites, which is probably a bad thing, since it’s the company website and I’m offering design services. I’ll work on that a little later on today.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!
