I have done the google thing for about an hour now, and I can’t seem to find any solutions.

I am building a new site for work, and I am running into a minor issue with the navbar on mobile devices (also in browsers when the navbar is collapsed).

    Template: initializr (Boilerplate 4.3 / Bootstrap 3.1.1)

when you tap the button that should drop the menu down, the links are displaying below the bar. I want the links to display in a row like they are, but obviously need them to appear in the white area above them.

Let me know if there is anything you need from me to help me figure this out. I am pretty good with deciphering CSS issues, but this one has really got me.

I put that in there to move the navbar links down a bit. Visually that is what I would like to keep. Is there another method to make the links “hug” the bottom of the navbar space without adding margin-bottom?
