modal box

Hello! My client wanted me to design a website that allows clients to view the website only after registering with an user and password that he gives. I found a way to this with modal box following this tutorial: http://blog.avtex.com/2012/01/26/cross-browser-css-only-modal-box but my issue is that I do not know how to close the overlay box after user register. Please, can somebody help me? The code for the modal box is this:
