Mobile, css portrait view fine; breaks on landscape

  • # October 10, 2012 at 1:14 am

Hi can you look at this site on mobile:
    http://qualisconstruction.com

If you navigate holding phone portrait, all is well.
But if you turn it landscape, and then navigate or reload, the site disappears.

I have no idea what is wrong. Any help?

    Thanks in advance.

Wondering what diagnostic tool to use for this — it looks fine on desktop screen at narrow browser width. So I need a way to play with styles in an iphone browser simulator…..

    Hmmm

If you are on mac, get Xcode and find the [iPhone Simulator](http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#DOCUMENTATION/Xcode/Conceptual/ios_development_workflow/25-Using_iOS_Simulator/ios_simulator_application.html “iPhone Simulator in Xcode”).

Works fine on my HTC One X but it’s not super quick at re rendering.

I have to say that you should try and find a way to get the number of menu items down to an even number.

If you are using chrome you can use this extension: User-Agent Switcher. But I don’t know if that is exactly what you need.
