    Hi,
I’m writing a web-based mobile app, using Jquery Mobile, CSS and HTML 5.

The mobile version of the site does not render italicised text – but the PC/Mac version does.

Have a look on both a mobile device and a PC/Mac.

    Why does this happen?
Emphasis and italics are important on this site because it’s about academic referencing

Help me save the rest of my hair, please: I’ve pulled most of it out today.

    Thanks!

Seems to be working on my Android HTC One X but it’s hard to tell because I can’t zoom in as you have disabled that option.

    Hi, thanks.
Ah, if only I were skilled enough to disable the zoom in…. it’s probably the default option.
Glad you can see the italics.
Love your graphic – that’s exactly how I feel at the moment.

Default..possibly but if you **can** change it, there is where you would do it.
