I know that I’m probably being a bit dozy here however, I just can’t seem to configure MAMP Pro the same way that Chris has it i.e he seems to be able to have MAMP with any old server name and links it to any folder he like then he restarts MAMP and boom it works.
I’m getting no joy at all what am I doing wrong? I love to get rid of the localhost:8888. I’m also running Mountain Lion.
Take care
Jonathan

Hi Senff I’m getting the basic picture from your previous post obviously you were taking about getting virtualhost working on PC. However I’ve also just find this piece on Nut tuts
What do you think do I need to do all the stuff which is outlined in the Net tuts article?
Euh I think that’s a bit much…. although it does include what you originally asked for.
It’s basically Server > General > Apache [ 80 ] (default ports)
Hi Chris it worked!
Also the new set of videos in the Lodge are just great.
Take care
