Hello. I need to make div look exactly the same as textarea in IE, FF and Opera.
I’ve set all known (and unknown) CSS items the same. But still, in FF text somehow much shorter =( IE is the most accurate browser in this case (amazing!).
Can anyone help me with that?
This is where I’m testing it

For me, in IE, the text difference is even worse. The font weight is rendered differently in the text box. The fake-textarea has a slightly heavier weight. I know you have them both to set to 700 but they weights are still different. You may want to play with the weights on each area till they match. A pixel or two can add up to make a huge difference.
Yep. I’ve ruined something in CSS that kept IE rendering smooth and nicely. But still – theres a way to make IE render everything the way I want.
