Mailman configuration? Or something else…

    Hello,

    First post.

Any of you guys familiar with Mailman mailing list manager? I’m a newbie to it. I just managed to build a form for submitting to the mailing list, that was kinda easy.

Problem is: it sends a confirmation to the each user that submits to the list, the mail it sends has like 100 lines of arbitrary nonsense on it (probably very, very interesting info). You can reply to the post and get submitted (which is kinda easy), but most mail apps add that "Re: " on the header when replying and it messes it up. Or you can dig up the link to click somewhere from the mail to confirm. But behind the link it’s asking your name and password and what not, really, really incoherent.

So: is there a way to disable the subscription confirmation? Or to make it easier? Or would you recommend me something else than Mailman?

    All help appreciated! Thanks.
