I have been putting this off for far too long:

To Chris Coyier and all of you "posters" and bloggers: you have served as an inspiration for all the hard work I have done in the past few months. Chris, your passion for web design helped me decide on a career, I am already on my way to achieving a BS in multimedia design & development form Devry. I am glad that there are people like you, that put tremendous efforts to help others gain all this important knowledge. I am growing my own business in A/V installation and design, but web design has become my passion, ever since I got my hands on CS3 master suite. Since in my line of work we do interface design for touch panels and remote controls (like Philips Pronto, etc.), and minor programming (ASCII, C++ and Java), I know gaining all this knowledge will benefit me greatly, and serve as a backup plan, in case I decide to go a different route in the future. Thanks again, and you’ll be hearing from me soon (hopefully as a "full blown" web designer/developer).

    P.S.
Check out and grade some of my work, these are the only projects I have completed so far:

    http://www.autotinting-rockguard.com
And one modified WP theme, which I can not take full credit for:

Let me know what you think, don’t hold back! All comments are welcome. Thanks again.

@Paul You are absolutely correct! I was never interested in web development and designing but then one day I bumped into this video screencast by Chris on how to convert a design into a website. Since then, I have never looked back. I had no idea that web design/development can be so much fun and addictive! Each and everyday I learn something new from various sites. But at the end of the day its Chris who has taught me like everything! Forums at CSS-Trick has been like my work hang out place. When ever I design something, I don’t get any satisfaction until I have shared it with all the cool people here, who by the way are always willing to help :D

Today is "Teacher’s Day" in India and Chris has been like a teacher to me since November, 2008. Hence, Happy Teacher’s Day Chris :) and thank you for all the awesome stuffs you share with us. I wish that you get even more successful than you are at present!
