It should be a simple as changing the listener (`click` to `change`). However I would recommend using either of our methods for checking the value.
@TheDoc Perhaps mine is slightly cleaner and shorter ?
Using the position of the item in the list is not a particularly good way to check.
How about this.
Instead of a hide, I just used a v.short slideUp to start. There is quick flash however.

You can only slide a block element (which a `` is not).
Damn…I’m getting better at cutting & pasting JQ.
