ive been following chris’ screencasts of designing for wordpress, and was building a design i had done for a church into wordpress when i noticed some javascripts were behaving differently in IE.

http://epr-uk.com/wordpress/welcome-to-st-michaels – here is the wordpress version

    http://www.epr-uk.com/smaaa/1/home.html – and here is the non-wordpress.

the top accordion stretches the whole page in wordpress, but is the correct width in the non-wordpress.
also, there are wierd transparency issues in the sliding menu at the side, which only occurs in wordpress.

i was wondering if anyone knows if this is a common issue, or if i have made a mistake somewhere, when transferring the design into wordpress

    IE 6 and 7

heres a picture of what is happening for me

    * EDIT – got it fixed, looks like the starkers theme of wordpress was positioning my links relatively, which was screwing everything up.
