Is it possible to manipulate dom in an iframe?

  • # September 7, 2011 at 3:13 am

Here is the project: A little site where a user inputs their sitename and get an iframe with the site… BUT i have to disable flash in that iframe, the whole thing is needed to show possible clients that their flash based site does not run on the ipad.

I did a lot of research and could not find a good emulator to use, so now i’m looking forward and do it myself.
Anyway i’m stuck becouse i can’t find a way to manipulate the iframe content.

Any suggestion is highly appreciatet, thanks.

    You can’t :(
At least not without editing the page within the iFrame itself.

It’s impossible. Otherwise what’s to stop a person from iframing someone else’s entire site and passing it off as their own?
