    Hi,

Does having a website really increase your sales?

Do your customers judge you on the quality of your own website, or is a portfolio of work (without website) merely enough?

Without a website would you get just as many sales?

    James.

Anytime I hear about a product, service or restuarant etc, the first thing I do is google it, I dont like when I don’t find an official page

A bad website may hurt sales.
A good website will increase sales.

It definitively makes at least a small improvement, in my opinion.
I think there are many people who like to check things out using the internet, also people who go to google and search for a similar business are more likely to come across your website.

Therefore the website is more likely to increase sales.

Also as Senff said, the better the website the more likely it will increase the sales.
