IOS Image Optimization / High Pixel Density Displays

  • # May 2, 2012 at 12:40 pm

I’ve been reading through this article on Menacing Cloud about optimizing your images for high pixel density displays. It’s a really cool concept, but a little difficult to grasp with their limited code snippets. Has anything like this been covered on CSS-Tricks?

    If anyone is/was interested… I just found this: http://retinajs.com/

i just came back to post that exact link, @iagainsti

a js library seems way more plausible than hoping for a new image format.

@dfogge, I’m just about to put retina.js to use on a site I started tonight. I’ll let you know how it goes.
