Input fields get highlighted on Mac

I got a Mac about a month ago and one of the things that I’ve noticed is that I get the big like gray light coming from around form elements. How can I disable that in CSS? The light gets covered up but buttons in some places and it looks bad :O, so I don’t want it to look like that on other people’s Macs either.

download firebug for firefox and then view the page in firefox with firebug turned on and look for the specific class or id that is being called in the css. It might be script run, who knows, you can then edit the css right there in firebug to see the affects that it will have on the form

I’m pretty sure that’s a Safari thing, not just mac computers. I think if you put a border around your input fields it disables it. (I’m not sure I haven’t done it in awhile.)
