I move the WP Blog at http://portalarquitetonico.com.br/ to a different server. Turns out there a lot of images using special characters (á, ó, é, ú, í, æ ø å) in the filenames (yes, I know. I shouldn’t have). And now all images that had a filename containing these characters don’t display. They are on the server where they should be, but when I move the files via FTP the special characters weren’t “translated”.
There are a lot of images, so it’s not something that I can fix each file name manually.
Here is an example: http://portalarquitetonico.com.br/como-projetar-rampas/
At the bottom of the post there’s a big image not showing, wich the name is supposed to be http://portalarquitetonico.com.br/wp-content/uploads/representação-conforme-a-norma1.png
On the FTP file the name of the image is representação-conforme-a-norma.png but if you look the image link on the website is actually http://portalarquitetonico.com.br/wp-content/uploads/representa%C3%A7%C3%A3o-conforme-a-norma1.png
It somehow transformed the characters in something crazy.
Does anyone have an idea to a semi-quick fix for this? I am not the person who made this website and server transfer so I am not an expert on this. If someone could help me, please!
Thank you.
