IE7 margin clearing bug!!!

  • # May 7, 2008 at 10:29 pm

I am finding a problem with IE7 margin bug!

    http://www.indiebelts.com/your-new-belt-awaits/classy-freddie-blassie-belt/

Background and border colors somehow cause margins to be cleared when hover. This happens when you hover over an element that has a border or background color and hover class.
Hover over the add to cart buttons and gallery images in IE7 and watch the madness unfold before your eyes.

I am enraged by this problem and the fact that i just chipped a tooth on a black olive pit in my pasta salad. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. the margin problem only happens in IE7/WIN (wow what a shocker)…

So many smart people but nobody knows the answer. Oh well, I guess its not that big of a problem.

I would recommend you to go through some of the related articles at PIE’s Explorer Exposed!-page and see if you can’t get it to not jump the way it does.
