I have two issues within IE7 with this site I am developing Here.

    First Issue:

I am using Chris’ Simple jQuery Dropdown menu and in IE7 the menu is displayed the content div which has either a slider in it or simple text with a background color. I have attempted to use z-index but to no avail. Any thoughts?

    Second Issue:

I am having three issues with the slider that is found on the home page and each portfolio page. First, is the width of the image. Each image is only showing roughly 100px of it’s width, which obviously looks bad and wrong, but it also causes a bunch of white space to the right after the images are over. Second, I cannot get rid of the text “Explore” after the images either.

I have attempted to contact the person who built the slider with these questions, but have not gotten a response yet. Thanks in advance for your help and if you need anymore info let me know.

do you have any positioning on the div that you are trying to use z-index with? You have to have that.

Yes I made sure they both have positioning on them.
