IE 6.0 issue

  • # January 7, 2009 at 12:53 am

    I’ve just designed a site that my client loves. It is beautiful in all browsers, except IE 6.0. I would let this slide (as we have done with other clients), but it appears that most of this client’s audience uses IE 6.0.

    While the site works perfectly everywhere else, it simply doesn’t show anything in IE 6.0. I don’t even know where to look to solve this problem. Please help!

    Here’s a sample page:

    try adding this below your css code in the head section of your index.html file

    <!–[if lt IE 8]>
    <script src="http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.0(beta3)/IE8.js&quot;
    type="text/javascript"></script>
    <![endif]–>

    That worked on that page, brilliantly. THANK YOU! Do I need to add the script to all the other pages on the site, or does the index set things up for everything else?

    you will need to make sure its at the top of each page, because each page will load separately :)
