How would you slice this for CSS?

  • # January 28, 2010 at 10:35 pm

Here is an image that I created in photoshop for a clients website. I need the page to expand as content is added and I’m having issues because of the heavy use of graphics in this site.

My yellow lines are a proposed slice area for the Y repeat. Below the yellow lines would be the footer div.

How would you slice this if you were doing it and how would you code the CSS so when content was added, it repeated in Y and pushed the footer?

I’m looking forward to your answers and suggestions.

The answer is kind of contained in your question :?
Put the top slice in #header with a height no repeat.
Put the second slice in #content repeat-y.
Put the third slice in #footer with a height and no-repeat.
Wasn’t that what you were thinking anyway?
