    Hello,

I am trying to stylize a select box to better integrate with the layout. I need to apply an image background and a different arrow button. I know I’ve seen this somewhere across the web but don’t remember where. Here is the link to the image of what I would like to achieve.

    Could anyone help?

    Thanks,
    Alex

That’s very easy to do with flash, but a pretty large pain to get it to work in all major browsers. Someone mentioned that you’d use javascript to overwrite the browser’s default images (since those designs are created by each browser).

Thanks Ashton, I know Flash will do that, but I really need to achieve this using CSS and JavaScript to make it cross browser.

I did a quick search and found this article which explains a little more than I can: http://www.456bereastreet.com/archive/2 … _controls/
