    Hello All,

I’m working on a website for a church and I was looking for samples and ran across this site. I have minimal css knowledge but do know some for basic sites. How would you go about figuring out the layout for this site or could you send me in the right direction. Any help appreciated. I had a site started and now I think it is rather boring – I found the template and modified it just a bit – as you can see I need to add lots of content: current site: http://tolonopresbyterian.org/

the layout I’d like it to be similiar too: http://www.cfcpca.org/

    Thanks for any help/direction.

There are a lot of differences between your two sites, and I’m sure there will still be differences when you’re done. This can be a little touchy, but normally what I do is take it one step at a time.

And if you’re not already, I’d recommend getting the Web Developer toolbar and firebug plugins for Firefox, and use them to help you duplicate the features you like on this site.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Aston,

Thanks so much for you help. I ended up modeling after this site. http://www.npctucson.org/

Those tools are awesome and I’m learning a lot. The only problem I have ran into is getting the sidbars to extend on the sides – do you know what the problem might be?

Also, I’m changing, content, photos, etc. but what do I need to do to avoid copyright infringement?

    Thanks for you help!
    Kendra
