I need help with some css.
How can I have an image appear when hovering over a wordpress category link.
Here is a shot of my category links: http://s8.postimg.org/qb87nltk5/Screen_Shot_2014_11_27_at_3_37_08_PM.png
Here is the image I would like to have directly underneath when hovered over: http://s17.postimg.org/4crmgbr5b/FL_menuhover_img_01.png
(its the line that goes through the tag on the logo)
Can anyone help please?
Can’t diagnose an image or code we can’t see,
If you have a link we can take a look or you could create a short example of what you are trying to do in a Codepen.io demo.
From what I can gather though, you want that image to be the background of the link when its hovered…is that right?
Ok, please go to: http://www.flowerlandflorist.org
I want it to do this: http://s17.postimg.org/50035txdr/Screen_Shot_2014_11_27_at_3_37_08_PM.png
Add the image (appropriately sized of course) as a non-repeating background-image to the li
(using whatever class you deem suitable) and use background position and background-size to position it at the bottom of the li
(you might need extra padding-bottom
) and make it fit.
Thank you so much for the help. I really do appreciate it.
Would you mind taking a look and helping me with the padding to position it right under the link?
Thanks you! http://www.flowerlandflorist.org
Nevermind, I got it! Thank you so much!
